I went a long period with not Nasal Rinsing in the last year. It got put on the "Just nother thing I don't have time to view". Except when I didn't do it, I would not get enough oxygen, and I would slowly or fastly fall asleep, fepending on how much junk is in there.
I have been doing it regularly for more than 2 weeks, and can see a difference. I am alert more often.
I stopped nasal rinsing 2 decades ago when one foggy-brained morning I forgot to put the nasal rinse salt in the distilled water. at the time, I described it as squirting acid up my nose, It hurt so bad, it was disabling. I couldn't do anything or think of anything to alleviate the pain. This continued for severeal minutes.
I did not figure out that it was the absent of salt in the nasal rinse that caused the pain for 15 years. That is when I decided to do Nasal rinses again. I forgot the salt today. Since I knew what it was, it did not seem too hurt so bad. It was not disabling. I figured out immediately that the thing to do was quickly add salt to the rinse container, and re-fill to the top with distilled water. One squirt took away 90% of the pain. Next squirt, pain was gone.
