Emily is wonderful

I think everyone who reads this would agree: Emily Summers is exceptionally talented, and wonderful to be with. Success wants to come to her so earnestly, she just needs to accept it.

Sleep Problems still

These sleep problems are draining. I am managing better today. I might get abck to an AM waking schedule tomorrow. The secret this time was animal protein. I got lucky yesterday, and it let me sleep near a normal time.

There is something strange going on at work. Many of the charge number they give us to use look bogus, artifical. They are not being updated promptly. The status of a charge number might still be "Requirements", but from the technical status description, they are in development phase. It isn't just one or two. More than half of the 100 charge numbers they give us look this way.

I have reached "Legendary" status in the game Wizard 101. My last set of armor is very powerful, but it is UGLY. The system won't allow me to change the colors, so I am stuck with it. I am keeping my old Helmet, though. Looks like a dragon's head, with a wide open mouth. My head appears in the mouth. Maybe I'll take a picture. I won 2 badges today. I am a Draconian Master for having killed 200 dragons. I also finished killing 500 robots, so I am a Techomancer.

No sleep, no energy, no exercise means gain weight. I hate this.

I don't think it is too much to ask to just feel refreshed each day when I wake up.

My Blog is still here, Heather

I wanted to make a post, but thanks for the reminder, Heather. And to all my dedicated fans, I LOVE YOU.

At the suggestion of my Doctor, I got a Shingles vaccination today. It is a live virus. I read the background information on it. It only happens to people who recieved a certain vaccination as children. I was wondering when the downside of that kind of tampering would show up.

I have been having horrible problems with my sleep masks. I tried a smaller mask that just rides on top of the nose. It tended to shift upwards and block the nostrils. The shifting happens because the mask straps go around my head, and the shape of the back of my head has a slant. So I wqas unconsciously waking up half-way and shifting the mask 4 or 5 times a night.

So I went back to my old mask. I must have picked up a real old one from the box. I washed it, but it caused terrible infections on my face where the mask touched my skin. After 4 days, I had to stop. I looked closely with a magnifying glass. The mask must have hardened, because it was making very small cuts into my skin.

I called the Sleep Lab, and got a new mask Thursday night. This time I decided to try a full face mask, which covers both nose and mouth. I like this mask better, but it has a funny, beneficial effect. The first time I put the mask on, I could feel the cold air flowing around my lips. Eventually the air gets heated, and when I exhale, if I let some air out of my mouth, that warmed the mask up, too. The mask fits perfectly into my laugh wrinkles.

I woke up a few times last night, and this is what I noticed. I normally clench my teeth at night very hard. In the last 5 years, I have cracked 3 teeth. I have noticed over the last 5 years I have been using CPAP that I don't take deep enough breathes. The lower lobes of the lungs were not inflating. This is a stress trigger, which may account for my anxiety symptoms. I have actually starting taking my anxiety medication at night, and the overall affect is better.

So back to what I noticed last night(clever - how I left that completely out of the previous paragraph). Instead of tightly sealed lips, my lips were relaxed. Air was seeping into my mouth at the corners. This inflates my cheeks a little. I can tell my skin is not touching my gums. It does dry my mouth, but not too bad. Then I noticed that my lower lung lobes were inflating. Usually, I had to push with my diaphragm a bit to inflate those lobes. Now it was happening effortlessly. I slept 14 hours, but woke up refreshed, which is so rare for me.

I have been noticing my sleep periods starting to get shorter, which would really help at work. My boss is starting to get pissed that I am getting to work so late.

The apartment shows the level of my health. there are things stacked up here and there. Unused Q-tips that fell from my grasp all over the bath floor. The tub needs a good scrub. And I have 3 weeks of mail to sort through.

Have a Happy Gazhinta!
That's a new holiday, on 2 april, that I made up to celebrate being left-handed.
