I need to record this.
I have been feeling very good for 2 or 3 days now. I have been trying to eat things according to "The Diet Solution", which I have just recently purchased. I was feeling great, with a good attitude and lots of energy. I was getting a lot done, and healing at an incredible rate. It has only been a week since I had a new left hip installed, and the doctors and physical therapists are amazed at how much I was able to do at this point.
Then Emily got back from shopping, and brought Taco Bell. I ate to my limit, but not over my limit, giving the excess to the dog. Shortly thereafter, I got really tired. I did not lay down, but that's all I wanted to do. I continued loading my CDs into iTunes for about 3 hours
I was hungry, so I had a small bottle of Boost energy drink. 30 minutes later, I had another, and a banana.
Then Emily thawed out one of the homemade frozen dinners that a nice family had made for me. I thought she was going to give me some much later, but she brought it to me only shortly after eating the banana.
It was sweet and sour chicken. It was not very sweet, just a hint of flavor. She gave me a full bowl of rice, with 2 pieces of chicken (not small, not large). I decided to eat it while it was warm. When I was done, I could feel that I had over-eaten.
I was so tired, I could not stay awake. This was around 8:30 PM. So I went to bed, using just a sheet to cover me, like I normally do. During the nap, I became so cold, it woke me up enough to cover myself with my very thick quilt. Then I quickly fell back asleep.
I had a dream that I was in some kind of school. After a while in the dream, I found myself in the dormitories. I was in the room of a friend, when a stranger came in. He had piercings all over his body. His mustache appeared to grow straight down from his nose, passing through a metal ring, before curling up the to the left and right. He attacked the other guy in the room, then me. It was an awful struggle. It was like I could see into his mind. He thought people were attacking him, so he was defending himself, but it was actually he that was the aggressor.
I left the room, screaming for help. I was yelling this phrase over and over again: "He's going to poison me!". I ran to an intersection of 2 hallways. People were coming out of their rooms because of all the noise, and approaching me from all directions. I was freaking out.
Then my daughter Emily woke me up from the dream. It took her a good minute to wake me up. From her perspective, I started yelling help, first softly, then louder and louder until she could her me over the movie she was watching in her room. As she came into my room, that must have been the part where I was in the hallway intersection. She heard me say "Don't get near me!". Once I was awake, Emily asked if I wanted to get up. I said "I am just so tired", and went back to sleep. I woke up later, I don't know how much later.
The reason I did not want to get up was because I was so cold. I couldn't bear to get out of the blankets. Emily checked the thermometer, and it said it was just under 80 degrees in the apartment. When I got up, it was 11:30 - 3 hours later. My temperature was 98.7 and my blood sugar was 191. I found a pillow accross the room - evidently I had thrown it.
I find the phrase "He's poisoning me" very interesting, like my body was screaming to the world that I was poisoning it.
I learned in the last 6 weeks that using Monster energy drinks gave me strong anxiety symptoms after only 3 days, drinking 1 can a day.
So: No more fast food for me
