REALLY WEIRD DREAM

I usually have creative dreams, but this one was out there!

I was living with my parents in a very old house.  I was adult height.  The house in the dream was not like any house I ever lived in or have ever seen before.  It was a very old house - not ancient and nothing special about it.

My Dad decided it was time to remodel the garage.  I took a sledge hammer and broke through one of the side walls of the garage.  I was surprised to see that there was a room on the other side of the wall.  it was a very skinny room, only 4 feet wide, but was as deep as the garage.  The room had no doors, but it did have a window.  The room was filled with Junkies, lying all over the place, on scattered scraps of broken down furniture.

In the hole I made in the wall, there were 3 service lines exposed.   They looked like PVC pipes.  Each had a vibrant color:  Yellow, Red and Green.  By the colors, I understood them to be gas lines.  As I looked closer, they were more like garden hoses than PVC pipe, kind of rubbery.   Dad thought there might be a leak.   So I went to a corner of the garage where the gas controls were.  There were knobs that controlled the gas lines.   Each knob was the same color as the gas line.   I attempted to turn one of the gas lines off.  I turned the knob the wrong way, and the yellow line began to quickly expand, becoming so full it looked like a large balloon.

Dad's yelling at me, I'm asking for help, I finally get it shut off.

I turned my attention to the Junkies.  My intention was to throw them out.   One of them was a smart mouth scrawny lady who knew what I was thinking and said:   We got squatter's rights - and I knew she was right.   So I tried to think of a way to make them leave on their own.   So I thought - if there was no electricity, it would be cold and dark, and maybe they would leave.

I walked around the house to the back yard, to find the fusebox.  My wife, Karen, was there to help me.   The cabinet on the fuse box was locked.   I managed to break the lock.   Looking inside the cabinet, I couldn't figure out how to turn the electricity off.
